You’d be forgiven for thinking that mining is a dwindling industry but in fact one of Astra’s most comprehensive recruitment projects in the last five years was with Wolf Minerals, the world’s fourth largest tungsten resource and the UK’s very first metal mine for over 40 years. This mammoth mining recruitment project consisted of supporting the group with over 100 vacancies that needed to be filled and the launch of assessment centre days to whittle down suitable candidates for various roles.
Although mining is a very niche area, Astra have strong roots and expertise within Logistics, Engineering and Construction, which made this project a lot easier to fulfil.
