Astra Recruitment were formed to address the growing need for a reliable and specialist service that truly understands a jobseeker’s needs. Since our launch in 2010, we have significantly grown, and now have over 10 specialist recruitment consultants who are experts in their field.

What sets Astra Recruitment apart from the rest is our clear focus on specialised recruitment. We wanted to roll out a service that could add true value to specific industries. This enables us to really engage with our candidates and fully understand the exact needs for our core industries, which include: Logistics / IT / Engineering & Technical.

By delivering a clear focus to these areas we are able to provide our candidates with knowledgeable, relevant and thorough solutions to the type of employment they want. Every Astra Recruitment consultant has been a ‘candidate’ at one point in their lives, so that human element is something we really like to emphasise – getting to know you and what you really want is an important part of the process.

Another clear advantage is that each industry ‘desk’ hosts a passionate and insightful recruitment consultant, who shares an interest in the sector they work in and can truly relate to a jobseeker’s wishes. Having the experience in a particular industry means that our consultants are extremely familiar with current industry requirements, the languages used and the awareness to adapt with market changes. Our consultants also have the ability to put themselves in a candidate’s shoes and even if a candidate is unsuccessful the first time around, they'll remain considered for future roles.
